This July, Braze celebrated our 10th anniversary. And since the day we first opened our doors back in 2011, scaling our teams has been a top priority—after all, thoughtfully growing our organization makes it possible for us to continue to deliver the best-in-class service that our customers have come to know and expect.

That’s why we’re so pleased to announce that Braze has been named to Fortune’s Best Medium-Sized Workplaces in 2021, at #20. To determine the 2021 Best Medium Workplaces list, Fortune partnered with people analytics firm Great Place to Work® to analyze confidential survey feedback representing more than 189,000 employees working in small- and medium-sized businesses across the United States. To be considered, companies had to meet the Great Place to Work-Certified standard. This is the first year Braze has been recognized for this achievement.

At Braze, we want all of our employees to feel driven, inspired, and supported while we all work together to reach new heights. Growing our organization from three founding employees to an employee base of more than 900 worldwide is no mean feat, but when there are clear corporate values and strong teams, it makes things that much easier.

So, what makes Braze a Best Medium-Sized Workplace in 2021? After surveying more than 500 of our US employees, we found that 97% of our employees say Braze is a great place to work, compared to 59% of employees at a typical US-based company. Additionally, 98% of our US employees said they were made to feel welcome at Braze from the very beginning of their journey with us, while 97% of employees are proud to tell others they work at Braze. Forming teams that have a strong connection to the company, our products, and each other is what makes Braze such a special place to work.
