As part of our core tenets, Braze strives to be an inclusive workplace for all our employees. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that Braze has been ranked 13th in 2021 UK Best Workplaces for Women in the Medium Category by Great Place to Work (GPTW.)

GPTW is a global authority on workplace culture, and this award is only handed to the companies that have gone above and beyond for their employees, creating a sense of trust, belonging, fairness, wellbeing and value. For its first year as a Great Place to Work-certified company, we are delighted that Braze is also recognized as a UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women.

Although we realize we still have a way to go, we are proud that 43% of our UK workforce are women, when the average in the tech industry stands at just 19%. In addition, 41% of our people management positions and 53% of our EMEA leadership team positions are held by women, and we hope to continue to build on these metrics in the near future.

Braze lives up to its company values with our leadership team making meaningful changes to improve their ability to recruit, retain, and nurture top female employees. “We always strive to attract and retain women of talent, encouraging them to develop at Braze, both professionally and personally. Braze is a company where you can innovate and fail safely, with a lot of room for personal growth.” said Marjorie Armitage, EMEA General Manager. “As a mother, ensuring that parenthood will not hinder an employee’s career progression is always one of my priorities.”
