At Braze, we know how central our employees are to our success and ensuring that we're setting them up for success by creating a workplace culture that centers our curiosity, inclusivity, and shared humanity is a key company goal. Accordingly, we're pleased to announce that Braze has been named to Fortune’s Best Medium-Sized Workplaces for the second consecutive year. This year, we're ranked at #5!
To determine the 2022 Best Medium Workplaces list™, Fortune partnered with people analytics firm Great Place to Work® to analyze confidential survey feedback representing more than 200,000 employees working in medium-sized businesses across the United States. To be considered, companies had to meet the Great Place to Work-Certified standard.
After surveying more than 500 of our US employees, we found that 97% of our employees say Braze is a great place to work, compared to 57% of employees at a typical US-based company. Additionally, 99% of our US employees said management is honest and ethical in its business practices, while 98% of employees said our facilities contribute to a good working environment. Creating favorable work/life balance, empowering diverse teams, offering comprehensive learning and development resources, and living our values are just a few more reasons that Braze is such a special place to work.
We have grown our organization’s headcount significantly since earning this award. A year ago, Braze had approximately 800 employees—but at the end of Q1 2022, our total Braze team grew to over 1,280. We continue to add talent to the team every month to support our ambitious goals and growth.
