Thanks to some solid work from our developer team, we’re pleased to announce compatibility with customer data hub Segment. This partnership will allow anyone with a Segment server-side integration to immediately start sending data to Appboy.

With one click, clients who use Segment will be able to receive Appboy analytics from their customer data instantly thanks to the seamless transfer from Segment’s open source libraries to Appboy. Our platform will support a number of Segment methods, including: Identify, which associates users to recognizable user IDs and allows for the recording of names, email addresses, account types and other user information like custom attributes; Track, which allows for the recording of user actions, custom events and purchases; and Group, which associates users with a given company, project or other grouping.

For details on how to enable Appboy, check out our Segment Integration documentation. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
