From global enterprise organizations to lean startups, brands of every size can use Braze to reach their customer engagement goals.

We’re thrilled to announce that Braze has been named a Leader in both the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Omni-Channel Marketing Platforms for B2C Enterprises 2023 Vendor Assessment (doc #US49727423, September 2023) and IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Omni-Channel Marketing Platforms for SMB Organizations 2023 Vendor Assessment (doc #US51147323, September 2023). We believe these recognitions are not only a testament to the hard work our teams do every day, but they also validate our vision for the trajectory of Braze. We look forward to continuing to help companies of all sizes drive success with their customer engagement programs.

The IDC MarketScape assessment is a comprehensive study that evaluates the effectiveness of various customer engagement platforms based on omni-channel adoption, general marketing functions, journey orchestration, personalization, and artificial intelligence/machine learning capabilities. For the Enterprise assessment, they focused on the needs and challenges of large enterprises (1,000+ employees) while the SMB assessment addressed the needs and challenges of organizations with fewer than 1,000 employees. IDC MarketScape follows a rigorous process of assessment that includes research such as structured discussions, surveys, and interviews with market leaders, participants, and end users. The study is intended to assist marketers when selecting the most effective platform for their needs.

IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. The Capabilities score measures vendor product, go-to-market, and business execution in the short-term. The Strategy score measures alignment of vendor strategies with customer requirements in a 3-5-year timeframe. Vendor market share is represented by the size of the icons.

According to both IDC MarketScape assessments, the Braze platform’s strengths include:

  • “The solution excels at complex multichannel campaigns that go beyond ‘batch and blast.’ [Braze] is particularly renowned for creative mobile campaign capabilities that reach in-app audiences.”

  • “Real-time data processing in a CDP-less environment provides marketers with the flexibility to activate data directly from their data warehouse, app, website, and other third-party technologies.”

  • “Marketer-friendly drag-and-drop low-code tools facilitate easy journey orchestration as well as campaign experimentation and optimization.”
