When using Braze, Braze’s customers are the data controllers who determine what data is collected and shared with the Braze Services. With respect to the Braze Services, Braze is a data processor that processes personal data on the instructions of our customers. Our customers are responsible for using the Braze Services in accordance with the data protection laws and regulations that apply to them.

Your partner in compliance

As a good partner, we stay informed of the latest developments and practices in data protection. For instance, we offer a Data Processing Addendum that addresses the language for the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), and other U.S. state privacy laws.

The Braze Services include features that enable our customers to manage end user consent, process “do not sell or share” requests, and action consumer rights such as deletion requests.
