Data Processing Addendum
Braze Data Processing Addendum in Japanese (データ処理補填): Here
Braze relies upon the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to validate transfers of Personal Data from the EU to countries outside the EU without an adequacy finding.
On June 4th, 2021, the European Commission published new 2021 EU SCCs that replace the former 2010 SCCs. The below DPA has been updated on September 20th 2021 to include the new 2021 EU SCCs for our EU customers. The updated DPA still includes the 2010 SCCs which remains a valid transfer mechanism for transfers from the UK. The above Japanese version of the updated DPA will be posted on September 27th, 2021.
If you do not have a DPA in place with Braze, you can sign the updated DPA below.
If you do have a DPA in place with Braze that does not incorporate the 2021 EU SCCs, you are welcome to either sign the 2021 EU SCC Amendment or sign the updated DPA below.
In either case, please download the applicable document, complete on the document in block capital letters your company’s full legal name and signatory details, and sign and return it by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon receipt of the validly completed DPA or 2021 EU SCC Amendment by Braze, dated and signed by you, at this email address, the DPA or 2021 EU SCC Amendment will become legally binding
