Braze is announcing an $80 million Series E round led by Meritech, a venture capital company with investments in leading technology brands such as Facebook, MuleSoft, and Salesforce. This latest infusion of capital brings Braze to an incremental $130 million raised in just over a year–allowing Braze to continue our growth trajectory in disrupting legacy clouds and delivering more human messaging experiences to people worldwide. In this round, Braze also received backing from Spark Capital, a venture firm invested in Slack, Oculus, and Postmates, as well as backing from Cross Creek. Leads from their prior two rounds, Battery and ICONIQ, also participated.
