Today’s customer engagement landscape is challenging, especially for travel and hospitality brands navigating the ups and downs of operating in a world heavily impacted by public health concerns.

These complications make it more important than ever for companies in this vertical to ensure that they have the right marketing strategy and customer engagement technologies to help them accomplish their goals effectively. That’s why Braze continually strives to empower our customers in the travel and hospitality space (and beyond), whether it’s aligning with solutions partners or deepening relationships with technology partners.

Today, we’re pleased to announce that Braze has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Travel and Hospitality Competency status. This classification recognizes the Braze platform’s ability to ensure secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure applications for travel and hospitality customers. Braze has previously been recognized as an AWS Retail Competency Partner and an AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency Partner for its strength in helping brands build authentic relationships with their audiences across channels and platforms.

“As the travel and hospitality industry adapts to changing customer needs, brands must continue to strengthen relationships with customers as the pandemic and corresponding macroeconomic environment changes,” says Jon Hyman, Cofounder and CTO of Braze. “Through our AWS Travel and Hospitality Competency status, we will continue to support our travel and hospitality brands, like Skyscanner, Trainline, and VivaAerobus, by powering relevant and memorable experiences in 2021 and beyond.”

The newly launched AWS Travel and Hospitality Competency requires partners to undergo rigorous validation to ensure that they’re aligned with AWS best practices for building secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure for travel and hospitality brands. Achieving the AWS Travel and Hospitality Competency designates Braze as an AWS partner with deep domain expertise in one or more of the following categories: Data 360, Digital Customer Engagement, Smart Assets, Core Travel and Hospitality Applications, and Consulting Services providing strategic guidance and deployment services.

The competency also recognizes the role Braze has played in helping customers transform their business from behind the scenes to guest-facing customer experiences. “Braze has a proven track record of helping travel and hospitality companies transform their business on AWS and we’re delighted to welcome them in the launch of the AWS Travel and Hospitality Competency Program,” says David Peller, Managing Director, Travel & Hospitality, Amazon Web Services. “We look forward to seeing them work with our customers to create game-changing innovations that will impact and improve the way we fly, stay, eat, and experience our world.”

As an AWS Travel and Hospitality Competency Partner, Braze is proud to help brands provide their customers with timely, relevant brand experiences and to support more impactful customer engagement efforts across the board. As customer expectations rise, we’re right here supporting brands so they can stay ahead of the curve.
