At Braze (formerly Appboy), we’re focused on building the best customer engagement platform out there, supporting brilliant messaging experiences across devices, channels, and platforms. What does that mean for you? That we’re constantly innovating and improving upon our product so that you never miss out on an opportunity to connect with your customers.
Here’s what we’ve been up to this month:
We know how important it is to brands to deliver the most personalized, nuanced messaging to their customer to show they care. We’ve made that easier while using our Campaign Details Endpoint API, adding additional granularity for the timings of messages, like ‘last_sent_at’ and ‘first_sent_at’ to so that you have a live view of your customer, one you can react to in real-time.
Forward-looking brands leverage an ecosystem of technologies to more effectively communicate with their customers. When it comes to email, painstakingly identifying and changing every redirect link to fit the exact specifications needed can be cumbersome and frustrating. It can also lead to unnecessary errors. We’ve eased that process by building a tool that allows you to bulk update URLs in an email message, giving you more time to create brilliant experiences for your customers.
You asked, and we deliver! You can now pull in analytics for a specific campaign actions within our Currents high-volume data export tool, making it easier to understand and manage how specific campaigns are performing.
Working within a large team can be complicated—and sometimes frustrating. To make things a little easier, we’ve improved our login process to ensure there’s no confusion when you’re accessing different versions of the Braze dashboard. Now, no matter what link you use to log in, we’ll redirect you to the correct version of the dashboard so you can get right to work.
We know how much time and effort brands spend building out their messaging campaigns—which is why we’ve added clear warnings within the Braze dashboard if there are compatibility issues between a Braze feature you’d like to use and the SDK version you’re on. With this new update, you don’t have to worry about wasting time; we’ll inform you of any relevant information you need to know.
Keep checking back here to stay up to date on releases, updates, and announcements now, and throughout the rest of the year. In the meantime, check out our new and improved Braze Quarterly Roundup to see what we’ve been up to as a company.
