As we close out another year here at Braze, we do so with our eyes focused steadfastly toward the future. At Braze, we help leading brands deliver memorable experiences to their customers—and to do that successfully in an environment that's constantly changing. To keep up, we've learned over the years how to adapt, redesign, and rethink our business to ensure the best outcomes for our customers and the best experience for our employees, whether they're working in-person or engaging with their peers through a screen. Accordingly, we're proud to share that Braze has been recognized as one of the 25 Highest-Rated Public Cloud Computing Companies To Work For by Battery Ventures, a global investment firm and cloud investor.
Battery Ventures based its assessment on data specifically provided by Glassdoor, the worldwide leader on insights about jobs and companies. The list highlights 25 publicly traded companies—all business-to-business (B2B), cloud computing brands—where employees reported the highest levels of satisfaction at work during the 12 months ending October 31, 2021, according to employee feedback shared on Glassdoor.
Braze came in at number 21 (out of 25 total) with an overall company rating of 4.44, compared to Glassdoor’s platform-wide average of 3.7. When looking at leadership, Braze senior-leadership rating was 4.07, compared to the Glassdoor average of 3.3, while its positive business-outlook rating—indicating the percentage of employees who believe their employer’s business will get better in the next six months—was 87.80%. That’s compared to an average of 54% across Glassdoor.
This is the fifth year Battery has issued a version of its highest-rated public cloud companies list, along with a related ranking of the 25 Highest-Rated Private Cloud Computing Companies To Work For. The rankings—which this year come as many of us continue to face workplace challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, including remote and hybrid work—highlight the global trend of businesses increasingly turning to the cloud to run critical technology systems and software, instead of using on-premise systems.
