2021 EU SCC Amendment to your existing DPA with Braze

Braze relies upon the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to validate transfers of Personal Data from the EU to countries outside the EU without an adequacy finding.

On June 4th, 2021, the European Commission published new 2021 EU SCCs that replace the former 2010 SCCs. For Braze customers who already have a DPA in place with Braze, we offer to enter into the following 2021 EU SCC Amendment to add the 2021 EU SCCs to your existing DPA.

  • If you do have a DPA in place with Braze that does not already incorporate the 2021 EU SCCs, you are welcome to either sign the 2021 EU SCC Amendment below or sign the updated DPA.

  • If you do not have a DPA in place with Braze, please sign the 2021 EU SCC Amendment below.

In either case, please download the applicable document, complete on the document in block capital letters your company’s full legal name and signatory details, and sign and return it by email to privacy@braze.com. Upon receipt of the validly completed DPA or 2021 EU SCC Amendment by Braze, dated and signed by you, at this email address, the DPA or 2021 EU SCC Amendment will become legally binding.
