Data Processing Addendum
Braze Data Processing Addendum in Japanese (データ処理補填): Here
Braze relies upon the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to validate transfers of Personal Data from the EU to countries outside the EU without an adequacy finding. On June 4th, 2021, the European Commission published new 2021 EU SCCs that replace the former 2010 SCCs.
The UK’s Information Commissioner has published a UK Addendum that allows transfers from the UK to countries without an adequacy finding to occur relying on a UK Addendum to the 2021 EU SCCs. Braze relies on the UK Addendum for relevant transfers from the UK.
The California Consumer Privacy Act 2018 is being amended by the California Privacy Rights Act 2020 (“CCPA”), which legislation comes into effect on 1 January 2023. Accordingly, we have updated our DPA to include relevant contractual terms.
The below DPA has been updated in September 2022 to include the new 2021 EU SCCs, the UK Addendum and CCPA provisions.
The above Japanese version of the updated DPA was posted in September 2022.
